In a script by Dorothy June Svien that was awarded an honorable mention in a playwrighting contest, Jovial Man of Science is a play about a most unusual man, the story of Stephen Moulton Babcock and the invention of the butterfat test. Produced by Junius Eddy and the WHA Players, music by Patricia Griffin, sound by Mel Rozinski, and technical operation by Robert Wickham.
